Blog - rules for our blog!

1) No AI articles. Ever. All blog posts will be written by a real human. I am so sick of AI generated articles. They read like somebody who can’t quite grasp the English language wrote them, and, worse, are often full of erroneous information.

2) Actual experiences only. No repeating what others have blogged just to create content. No writing about anything other than our actual experiences. Whatever we write about will be what works - or doesn’t - for us. Some bloggers seem to have a habit of latching onto whatever homestead “tip” is going around and repeating it, so that when you do a search you find 50 articles all promoting a helpful tip or fact that turns out to be absolute bogus because nobody has actually verified it.

3) Only product recommendations for products we’ve actually found useful. If we use it and love it, we’ll talk about it whether it earns us a commission or not. Some products make life so much easier (like automatic chicken doors!), and you can be sure that products that we use and love are the only products we’ll ever recommend. Or we may write about something we’ve tried but don’t recommend. Either way, it’ll be something we’ve personally used.
